Age and grade both matter
USSSA Baseball uses age-based divisions with limited grade exceptions. Provide the player’s date of birth and current school grade so eligibility can be reviewed correctly.
Scenic Valley is gathering interest from families across different ages, communities and experience levels as we evaluate roster openings, tryouts and the potential formation of new teams.
Complete one form for each player interested in Scenic Valley baseball or fastpitch softball. Sharing interest helps us understand demand; it does not guarantee a roster position, team formation or participation.
USSSA Baseball uses age-based divisions with limited grade exceptions. Provide the player’s date of birth and current school grade so eligibility can be reviewed correctly.
Girls and families at any age may share interest. We will use player birth dates and community interest to identify where future fastpitch teams may be possible.
A Scenic Valley representative will contact families when an appropriate roster opening, evaluation, tryout or team-development opportunity becomes available.
These examples are general guidance. Scenic Valley will review each player’s information under the current USSSA rules before confirming eligibility.
A player who is age-eligible for 11U may play 11U regardless of grade.
A player who turns 12 before May 1 may still qualify for 11U when the player is in fifth grade, provided the player does not turn 13 before August 1.
Similar grade exceptions apply in other baseball divisions. Grade documentation may be required later to confirm eligibility.
